Synergy Accessibility Tips
Charles County Public School Employees are required to comply with
the provisions of the Employee Manual, which may be accessed
through the school system website:

By accessing the Synergy system, you are agreeing to the following: •You may only access information to which you are authorized and that is needed for your assignments and responsibilities. •You are responsible for your user account security. Passwords are to be kept strictly confidential. You are expressly prohibited from sharing user account information and passwords. You may not use any auto-fill password features. •You must log off all systems when finished using a workstation or when allowing others to use the workstation. •You must secure your electronic data. If you discover any breach of security of Synergy, you must notify your immediate supervisor as soon as practicable. •Personal files, pictures, or other information not related to CCPS are not allowed to be stored on the CCPS network. All information entered into Synergy shall relate to CCPS business. •You may not enter, alter, or amend any information on Synergy unless authorized to do so as part of your employment. •Any information you enter onto Synergy must, to the best of your knowledge, be accurate and appropriate. If you discover any incorrect or inappropriate information on Synergy, you must notify your immediate supervisor as soon as practicable. •You understand that any information entered by you on Synergy may be available to and accessed by the Superintendent or designee at any time for any reason. You understand that you do not have any ownership of or rights to control the information on Synergy. •You shall treat all school system records, including information obtained or stored on Synergy, as confidential and shall not reveal them to anyone who does not have a legal right to the information or a need to know the information, except as directed by the Superintendent or designee, or as required by law. This provision expressly applies, but is not limited, to student information and other personally identifiable information. Any violation of these terms, or the terms set forth in the Employee Manual, shall subject you to discipline up to and including termination and may result in restrictions on your further use of and ability to access Synergy.
